We went on the last day that Waterworld was open for the season. It was a bit cold, but pleasant because the lines weren't long. There are a lot of great slides and other thrilling rides.
The park was pretty nice. Clean with good ride for kids and adults. There is not much seating so get their early or bring your own chairs or a blanket for the ground. Food service is where they totally fail. The wait for food was about 1 hour before you could order. Then 20 more to get your food. You can order through their web site and skip the first line for a steep processing fee. The snack shacks had a very limited selection or were empty. Maybe it was due to being late in the season. Also be warned. They have soda vending machines that say $4.50. We didn't want to wait in line for a soda so bought 2 from the machines. Were actually charged $9 for each soda. 2 cokes= $18... Do your self a favor and bring your own food in a cooler in your car. The parking lot is right in front of the park and takes only 1 minute to get to your car. They even have picnic benches.
Fun place to go with your family. But FYI get there early to make sure you have enough seating for your family. First come basis, unless you rent a cabana. You can also bring your own chairs. We would pack an ice chest full of sandwiches and fruit so we don't spend to much at the snack shack. Also bring an emergency pack with wipes and tampons or pads in case you need them. They charge like 5 bucks for one and they suck. No water shoes allowed so don't waste your money. Other than that it's way fun for all ages we live it here!!
We rented a Cabana but the food we ordered didn't come out for almost 2 hours. We were served water without cups, very disorganized. We were comped for food and drinks so I applaud the manager for that. However, there are six major rides at the park and only half of them were open. So overall, average experience could have been better if rides worked and service was good for the Cabana section.
A fantastic water park! It's not huge, but it provided most of a day's fun for us. The rides were awesome, food was good, and my wife and I had a wonderful time.
Other reviewers are complaining about the wait and prices. This place has faster lines than six flags, cheaper food prices, and good food. Definitely worth going.
