What can beat watching a movie or movies in the comfort of your own car controlling your radio?! Tuesdays have discounted prices. Do NOT trust the unwrapped candy/food. Not the best customer service, no refunds or raincheck anymore. Prices went up to $7.95 and in recently they don't play two movies on a new release film. Sometimes there are activities of kid. A good experience.
I love this place. I used to love drive-in movies with my parents when I was a kid and now I get to let my own kids experience them. I definitely prefer drive-ins to regular theaters. No annoying people sitting next to you, you have your own sound system and climate control, plus bring whatever you want to eat or drink. Its cheaper too.
I've been coming here often, for the last 7 years. Can't beat being able to watch two movies for the price of one. It's especially nice when you have very young children who can not sit still in a movie theater yet. You do have to arrive very early when there is a movie premier. The line of cars for new movies is usually more than 3 city blocks long. Mist days it is not crowded. I've never really had a problem when I go. You do come across some people that smoke herb, but they usually keep to themselves and stay in the car to smoke. A lot of families go. They have customer appreciation nights at least twice a year, which I always go to as well. They show free movies, they have a live band playing mainly fun oldies, free face painting and they always have some type of free kids activites, like a jumper and train ride. Most of these events tend to get crowded. It's good fun though.
A wonderful gem that is the only lasting drive in in the county. A private, and cheap movie experience. You also get two movies for the price of less than one normal ticket at a theater! Love this place. Concessions are decent.
BEST movie and chill place in the bay area!!!!! I advice going on Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday! Must bring your own date! AVOID movie and chill on weekends.. too many kids are watching and they will be watching you!
