Our Samoyd received outstanding care from Dr Gerardo Martin del Campo and the team and SAGE. They phoned us multiple times with updates and took great care of him before during and after his surgery.

Clean, modern facility with a caring staff. Our dog was kept overnight and the staff made us feel as though our boy was being well cared for. The doctor had great bedside manner and explained everything, however the folks explaining the billing are less than knowledgeable and kinda look at you like " what do you want me to do about it , it is what it is." Ask for someone to explain the charges in detail. I had to ask them to write in my file not to do anything outside the estimate without my approval as I was charged more than discussed.

The staff was very helpful and kind, my family came in very scared because my puppy had parvo and we didn't know we just saw that he was in pain and we had to take him but by then all vets near me were closed and we didn't know what to do I was scared I thought he was going to die and then we came across SAGE VET and they attended us quickly and calmly making us feel assured like they know what to do and will save him kinda feeling and after a long wait to see if he was ok (I didn't mind the wait as long as they are helping him no matter how long it takes) they said he will be just fine but to be sure that he's back to normal like eating and stuff he spent the night there and they took care of him. They let us see him before we left that night and I thought that was nice. The next day he was doing great they saved his life and the price I believe was quite high but for saving my puppy we didn't mind we worked something out in the end. The wait was comfy, they had snacks, water, and magazines. Ps. When they took him in we were with him too and after diagnosing him we had to step out so they could help him but they told us he will be fine and he was. I really like the place and people. Recommend you get insurance for your pup.

my father took my dog to Cal West hospital in fairfield, and they failed to find the underlying issue. When my dogs symptoms got worse over the course of a month thats when i took matters in my own hands and had him seen by a specialist. The doctor who examined my pet found the problem instantly. Swollen, infected lymph nodes which explains his symptoms. By far one of the best qualified place in this profession.

We brought our rabbit in, paid a premium and it died. I also called to try to buy critical care, a product by Oxbow sold on Amazon and done pet stores, since it was after hours for my other rabbit. They would not sell the product to me without bringing my rabbit in which would be a minimum $110.00. This is not a prescription item and luckily I bought it at Berkeley Dog and Cat, a more ethical provider of animal care. Withholding the critical care to make a buck is completely unethical.
