Couldn't get my Lumenplay lamps to work correctly. So I went to Sun Valley Brookstone today and Eric got them going. Thanx. clue: on Android unpair let program pair Bluetooth.
Bought a handheld massager from here. Both the sales guys were really good and courteous. They explained what we were getting into. We even enjoyed a 10 min massage on their massage chair. That was really cool
I had ordered a pocket projector through Brookstone's account on Amazon. The one that I had received was busted. The ultra friendly staff at the mall said that they would replace it for me and we even pulled it out and tested it. The replacement works flawlessly! Manager Steve and his sales associates on staff made my day!
As for the troubles leading up to the replacement. I had ordered the projector online through Amazon. I ordered it as a gift and it sat around wrapped for a few weeks before I took a trip to deliver the present for the birthday. The bezel on the bottom was broken and cracked. The screw mount for a tripod/mounting was falling out and would not hold the projector in place. After playing with it for a while I managed to get it to point in the direction I wanted without it sliding around or drooping. After that mess, I tried to focus the image. Every time I touched the dial it would go out of focus. After a few minutes of messing around with it I finally got it in focus. The final kicker was the audio port. The audio was only outputting left channel audio. I tried different devices, different cables, different audio output speakers and the verdict was the same across the board; no right channel audio.
TL;DR, I got a busted POS off Amazon and the guys at the store replaced it and tested the new one out hassle free!
Steve Hay the manager is very rude. I came in with a return from an online purchase. Before purchasing $200 headphones on sale I read the reviews and return policy. (All merchandise (except massage chairs) purchased from Brookstone in new condition with original packaging may be exchanged or refunded in the original form of payment within 60 days of purchase with an original receipt). When I opened the box to show Steve he said "Nasty these have been used and you cannot return personal products". I showed him the return policy above and only then did he agree to return them but he pulled out a piece of paper from behind the counter saying that personal products couldn't be returned. Misleading and shady. Do you to my experience with Steve I will never consider shopping at Brookstone or recommend it to anybody .
Extremely rude and lazy staff. I waited @ the counter all while one of the employees watches from a massage chair. Eventually the manager came and was extremely rude on exchange options. When we left the other employee was still taking a load off in the chair while the store was full of customers.
